**The Chiefettes were not allowed to compete against teams from Alabama since this was their State competition, but after receiving scores the day after the competition, the Chiefettes still had the highest pom and kick score of the competition! In conclusion, they REALLY did win first place! The Chiefettes went to this competition for the simple fact that most of the teams in Alabama attend Nationals, so this was a good way to measure themselves against some of the competition at Nationals.

Congratulations to the Chiefettes who placed an outstanding 7th in the Nation for their High Kick routine at the UDA National Dance Team Championship! This is the Chiefettes' highest National Ranking in the history of their program.
