Carmen Yarbrough
Varsity Coach
Coach Carmen Yarbrough began coaching the Chiefettes in August of 2006. Since the beginning of her coaching career, it was Carmen's desire to take the dance team to the next level, and that meant competiting on a National level. She took her first team to UDA Nationals as a learning experience, and from there, began adding different pieces to the puzzle to make a name for the MHS Chiefettes. Each year, the Chiefettes have become a stronger dance team by pushing the envelope with technical skills and innovative choreography. The Chiefettes have made a name for themselves on the National level by placing in Finals with the best dance teams across the nation. Their highest raking came in 2011 when they placed 7th in the High Kick category.
Coach Yarbrough challenges her dancers to always push themselves and to never give less than 110% at any practice or performance. She prides herself on the fact that all of her dancers have a love for each other and their team, and graduate with confidence, leadership, and work ethic.

Erica Keating
Technique Instructor
Erica began working with the Chiefettes in 2008 as their Technique Instructor. Erica is the Assistant Director at Carla's Dance Factory and has 25 years of dance experience. Erica teaches the team technique class that the Chiefettes are enrolled in, and periodically comes to practice to help. She attends all competitions, including Nationals, so that she can continue to develop a challenging technique class for the Chiefettes. Erica is not only a huge asset to the Chiefette family, but also one of the instructors for the Senior 1 Company Competition Team at Carla's Dance Factory, where many of the Chiefettes are also involved.
